The Jawn

Peak Johnson rocks The Jawn. Rock, rock on…
Peak was one of the hardcore few to pick up The Jawn, and he’s been down since the       beginning.
I got to know Peak when I was writing at the Philadelphia Daily News. When we started   communicating, he was much younger than I, but I could see his drive and desire to become that established writer here in Philly when he sought me out for some general writing advice. In fact, he reminded me of a younger me; hungry and aching to get his name out.
And by the looks of things, Peak’s perseverance has paid off.
He has his own interactive website, and also writes for the Huffington Post. And did I mention that Peak’s talents were acknowledged way back in 2007 when he was awarded the Fran Egan Civic Award? I’m probably missing a lot of his other achievements, but suffice to say, Peak’s on a roll.
And he has a certain gentleman’s taste in reading material.

Thanks for the kind words, Damon. Now that the semester at Temple is over I’ll have time to read The Jawn. Looking forward to Soul in Ink
